About Waterside Motors

Waterside Motors was set up in 2006 by Will Howarth, a lifelong vehicle enthusiast who wanted to start out on his own offering hand picked great value well presented cars.

Initially located at Hambleton Service Station in Poulton-Le-Fylde Lancashire, the business moved to its purpose built showroom at 37 Midgeland Road Blackpool,a 2 minute drive from the end of the M55 in 2013.

Over the years as the business has become established, Waterside Motors has built up nationwide contacts for buying cars from private individuals, businesses and trusted trade contacts as well as the countless happy customers who have purchased cars from us, many of them returning as repeat customers to buy from us again.

We offer part exchange for cars that we can resell ourselves through the garage and can settle off outstanding finance and negative equity if required.

All the cars we sell are initially road tested and inspected by ourselves, valeted and then checked over by a trusted local independent garage and serviced and MOT’d to date if required. For vehicles outside of manufacturers warranty a minimum of 3 months or 3000 miles (whichever occurs first) parts and labour warranty is put on the car using our own in house nationwide warranty covering all major electrical and mechanical items against failure.

We are FCA registered and are able to offer finance/PCP through our partner broker Octane Finance at competitive rates. We can settle the finance on your current car if you wish to trade it in or sell it to us and we can also deal with negative equity. We work with selected 3rd party finance providers ie Carfinance247,Zuto,Moneybarn etc - an admin fee of £395 is payable for cars not financed by our own provider Octane, this is to cover the high ongoing costs of us maintaining our FCA license which is normally covered by the commission we receive from our in house finance, and also the the admin fees charged to us by 3rd party finance providers.

We are always keen buyers of nice cars with a full service history and in excellent condition, if you have a car that fits this description and you are looking to sell please call or message Will on 07801 071950.

Due to the nature of how we source our cars nationally we are often away from the garage so operate viewings on an appointment only basis - please get in touch if this is something you would like to arrange. Weekends and evenings can often be accommodated.
