FIAT X1/9 BERTONE 1.5 VS finished in two tone red/black with matching leather interior.Only 32k miles from new,originally supplied as a brand new pre registered car by the then local Fiat dealer-Victoria Motors of Poulton-Le-Fylde to a local gentleman who part exchanged his older X1/9 for it and kept the car for 25 years until 2013.The car then remained local for the next 4 years only covering a few hundred miles until one of our customers acquired it in 2017 and kept and cherished it until he passed away earlier this year-ownership then passed to his wife from whom we purchased it.The car was repainted to a high standard around 2013 and the seats have had their centres replaced recently so the car presents very well indeed-it is especially solid underneath too with no corrosion issues which are common and expensive to rectify on the X1/9.There is a large history file with the car detailing ownership changes,old MOT’s and servicing/repair work over the years.The original handbook pack is present.As you would expect the car starts,runs and drives very well and we put the car through its MOT when it arrived with us and once a wiring fault on the rear fog lights was attended to it was given a clean bill of health.X1/9’s like this are getting rarer all the time now and as you may know it was designed by Marcello Gandini,whose other work includes some of the most beautiful cars ever such as the Lamborghini Miura,Countach and Diablo.Please contact Will by phone or message on 07801 071950 for further details or to arrange a viewing of this beautiful car.
